Daisy joined the HMSA Foundation in 2024, where she helps advance the Foundation’s strategic vision to improve the health and well-being of Hawaiʻi’s communities. In her role, she cultivates and stewards relationships with community leaders, organizations, and funding partners, working collaboratively to build trust-based partnerships and invest in solutions that create lasting impact across the state.

Daisy brings more than a decade of experience in philanthropy, community development finance, and social impact investing. Prior to joining HMSA Foundation, she served as a Program Officer at Hawaiʻi Community Foundation, where she managed philanthropic investments and partnered with nonprofit leaders on community-driven initiatives. Earlier in her career, she worked on the Mission Investments team at the Ford Foundation in New York City and as a Loan Officer at the Chicago Community Loan Fund, supporting innovative financing strategies that expanded opportunity in underserved communities.

Daisy began her career as an AmeriCorps*VISTA at the Shriver Center on Poverty Law and earned a degree in social policy from Northwestern University. Raised in Illinois and Seoul, South Korea, she has lived in Hawaiʻi since 2011. Outside of work, she enjoys sports and spending time with her husband and two sons.
